In the cities there are a selection shopping centres with a wide variety of stores. And the coastal towns offer the usual seaside fair!

Along Whitefriargate is the link from the centre of Hull to the Old Town. At the end of Whitefriargate (named from the colour of the habits the monks wore who lived here from 1293) is the indoor market  where you can purchase a wide variety of fresh food and flowers.

Hornsea Freeport was the first shopping factory outlet centre in England.  It offers shopping in a village atmosphere as well as somewhere to eat and leisure and play activities. There is plenty of free car parking and frequently the y host live events.
