Places to Shop in East Yorkshire

One of the best things about this area for shopping is the variety. There is a great number of market towns within a short drive from Westfield where you can also find a variety of specialist shops and boutiques. In the cities there are a selection shopping centres with a wide variety of stores. And the coastal towns offer the usual seaside fair!

Hull offers the best choice for shopping with three great shopping centres: Princes Quay, St Stephens and the Prospect Centre, with car parking available at all the centres. Each is within a max. 10min walk to each other, through the centre of Hull which also boasts a wide range of shops and restaurants.

Along Whitefriargate is the link from the centre of Hull to the Old Town. At the end of Whitefriargate (named from the colour of the habits the monks wore who lived here from 1293) is the indoor market where you can purchase a wide variety of fresh food and flowers.

Hornsea Freeport was the first shopping factory outlet centre in England. It offers shopping in a village atmosphere as well as somewhere to eat and leisure and play activities. There is plenty of free car parking and frequently the y host live events.

We had a lovely stay at Westfield Country Park. The lodge was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was amazing. By far the best place I have ever been and have already booked to come back in August. Very helpful staff – just amazing!

Absolutely fantastic stay here, just what the doctor ordered, peace and tranquillity. The surroundings are amazing and the three lakes are well stocked with fish. The lodges are spot on very, very clean, the bed comfy and had some great nights sleep. Definitely going back at some point we loved it!

Couldn’t have been any more perfect. It was clean, warm and lovely. The hot tub was mega. It was private from people walking past but also looked over the lake. When you’re laid in the tub on a clear night you could see the stars which made it even more perfect.
